A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Scott attended
Midwestern State University from which he received a Bachelor of Business
Administration Degree in 1985. Scott majored in Accounting, and graduated
with the honor of Cum Laude by accumulating a grade point average of 3.57.
After receiving his degree, Scott came to King, Moore, Truelove and Pharis
as a staff accountant. During the years that Scott has been with the
firm, he has obtained his Certified Public Accountant’s license in March 1989
and has advanced to the position of Accounting and Auditing Manager. He
currently holds certificates from Texas and Oklahoma. Scott is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a Treasurer of the
Girls Club of Vernon. He is also a member and past President, 1990-91,
of the Vernon Junior Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving on the board
of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Vernon. Scott is married to
Nancy Meyers and they have one son, Michael.

Bill attended The
University of Southern Mississippi (USM) where he received a Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration degree in 1971, majoring in Accounting.
As a Graduate Fellow, he received a Master of Science in Accounting in 1972
from USM. Bill has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980.
He currently holds certificates from Texas and Oklahoma. He has been
with King, Moore, Truelove and Pharis
since 1988.

Gower•
Starla
has worked as a data processing coordinator for King, Moore, Truelove & Pharis
since June of 2000. Majoring in Management, she received a Bachelor of
Business Administration Degree from Midwestern State University in August of
2001. Her job duties include bookkeeping and payroll services for the firm’s
clients. Starla was born and raised in Vernon and after attending college
returned to her hometown to live. She married Cory Gower in July of 2000, and
in November of 2001 they welcomed a new member to their family, a son, Tristan.
